Message	I had the same thing. If you remove it sometimes the metal imbeded in the heavy rubber monster is rusted. If so I'd go with a good quality fiberglass one. It's lighter so hatch opens better. If you paint yours, be sure to use rubber flex additive or the paint will peel off. Sorta like yours. The idea of the rubber was that it would flex with speed. Do 120 mph often? My fiberglass one lasts because there is no flex. Would not use fiberglass on any other aftermarket part. zleeper
