Message	clutch pedal. Make sure they are adjusted correctly and wiring is in place. Check the green pads while your down there too. Its also possible the switch or switches are failing. You can resistance test those. I'd start there, those are the most common culprits. If it would turn out to be the unit itself under the hood, I've got several replacement ones should you need.
