Subject	Alternator?

Message	Today, I went to start my Z and with the key in the ON position, the battery, brake, hicas, ABS and burnt out bulb indicator lights were on. It started up fine and the lights stayed on. I tested the battery with the car off, 12.8 volts, turned it on, it tested at 12.0 volts. I didn't have anything turned on either. At first thought, must be the alternator but I drove it yesterday, at night, didn't see any odd diming lights, radio worked fine, no indication that the alternator would be failing. I don't hear any signs of a failing bearing either. Could it be something else before I pull the alternator? Thanks.
