For ref here are my settings to get 17psi on stock turbos Set 74% Start boost 10 psi (lower to prevent boost spike, higher to spool faster) Gain 8% to maintain a flat boost curve over the full rpm range. What is your target max boost? Here is a quick over view of setting the controller. Put start boost and gain to zero, adjust the dial "set" to 40%. Boost the car in third gear and see what the max boost is. Then adjust the set up or down slightly and try again until your target max boost is reached. Leave this set % alone and increase the start boost to about 6 psi lower that your max target, take another run and note any boost spike. Continue increasing by one psi until spike is noted and lower that psi by 0.5 psi. Leave this start boost alone. Now increase the gain % in small increments until the boost is maintained flat at higher rpms. Your gain should not be that high, it's used to fine tune the boost curve once a target boost is obtained by the set values. Start boost(psi) setting allows the controller to start controlling the wastegate once this pressure is reached. Too high of a start boost will cause initial boost spike, and will always be lower than target pressure.
