My pads are getting pretty thin and I figured while I'm in there might as well try to upgrade a bit. Wheel clearance will not be a problem, curious to what the opinion is on installing relocating brackets to install larger diameter rotors. I figure my calipers can support a slightly wider rotor than stock but seems like every caliper relocation kit is based on 30mm rotors, mine are 32mm. My current rotors are pretty gouged and I figure after machining will end up around 30-31mm anyways. Is there a 32mm alternative using larger rotors or am I stuck with going back to 30mm? I realize there are numerous better options for a brake upgrade, I do not track the car, I have never experienced brake fade, stepping up to larger rotors is purely cosmetic in my scenario. Thanks for any input.
