Message	one of the plastic gears inside has a brass shaft pressed into it. two of mine were cracked so i repaired them with epoxy. i also cleaned the electrical contacts. the motors inside the actuator are reliable and i doubt they have failed. just be sure to mark where everything goes before taking them apart.
