Message It requires inspection before you can make that call, but I would bank on the fact that it would need some machining if it overheated.

Ive use two machine shops with good luck up here

Motor Machine Super Shop in Sacramento (more Rancho Cordova). Bonus is they have a dyno and a tuner if you need that too (not sure of his Z experience)

More local to me for small jobs is Kelley Automotive and Machine in Cameron Park.

A normal deck job will usually cost about $35 per head.

If you're comfortable doing it just take your time, label and take lots of pictures.

I could probably fit it in my shop, but I'm 3 hours north of you
