| Alright so I took my Z32 to a mechanic after being absolutely dumbfounded about it's electrical issue it was having. His diagnosis was a faulty alternator, and he returned the car to me. So I swapped out the reman Duralast alternator I had on it for an OEM alternator from the local Nissan dealer, and the alternator is still not giving the car any power. Only current issue I see with the charging system is a lose negative battery connection, I have a used battery harness on the way from Z1 that I am putting on it once it gets here. So if anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions. This is a quick list of everything I have done up until this point 1. Replaced alternator three times, first two were parts store remans, third and current alternator is Nissan OEM. 2. Verified all wires going to alternator are reading 12V with ignition turned to the on position. 3. Quadruple checked all connections. 4. Replaced battery. 5. Replaced alternator belt. *6. Replacing battery harness when it comes in.
