Message	to seal the wiring- lasts many years. For cleaning the connectors, if you don't use CorrosionX like they say below, I have successfully used a Dremel w/ a dental like tool I got at Harbor Freight that is small enough and shaped like a toothpick w a rough texture. Using the Dremel adapter/extension makes it easy. Next is a connection cleaner spray, then I put dielectric grease in there.
