Does the hesitation abruptly go away above 2600rpm, and at medium/high throttle position? If it does then this could be normal ECU behavior to rapidly heat the catalytic converters, and is no cause for concern. Under certain cold-start/warm-up conditions, the ECU retards the ignition timing to raise the exhaust gas temperature (EGT), causing the catalytic converters to heat up to their operating temperature much more quickly. This is done on purpose to reduce emissions on engine warm-up but results in a noticeable hesitation at partial throttle below 2600rpm.
