Message :If the alternator isn't operating properly the voltage should be around 12 Volts if the battery is good. If the alternator is functioning properly and the wiring is correct you should read approximately 14 volts. Hope this helps. Was the alternator new, used, OEM?

Sorry, I haven't updated, been busy at work and bumming rides until I can get my Z running again, but I am going to check voltages this weekend, also the alternator is a reman Duralast from autozone, they were the only place I was able to source one locally.
