Leakdown test showed pressure loss through the exhaust. I removed the cams/lifters and repeated the test, same result. Since nothing was holding down the valves, that was the only possibility. Also, at first I brought the heads back to the shop and they told me that the lifters were stuck and needed to be 'broken in', which I bought because I didn't really do my best to ensure the lifters stayed upright. So I soaked them in oil for a few days, pumped them a bit, reinstalled. Same issue, so I started driving it hard to cycle the lifters more, to no avail. Of course the shop never stands behind work where they don't do the assembly, so I was screwed on that front.
