and it was easy to detect. I found a small leak on the inside of my firewall where the clutch pedal connects to the master cylinder. In your case you said that there were no leaks at either location. I doubt the SS braided hose is expanding unless you purchased off eBay and not a reputable vendor. That only leaves the booster as mentioned above and where I would look next.
