With reference to Cj's response, it got me thinking a bit. Once my car is warm and the misfires begin, it may be worth noting that the misfires continue to occur when I rev the engine. I have confirmed this up about 2500rpm (I don't like to rev much higher than this on an unloaded engine). Would this still follow the open/closed loop scenario? What happens to the loop as the engine rpm's change?
