Message You will have to get them off to get the oil pan off.

Other things of note, you might have to remove the DS turbo (I believe, although I could be turned around from having the engine upside down) to get access to the transmission bracket to clear the oil pan.

Steps are essentially the same, except the first one is complete :)

Where are you hung up?

You will need a dead blow hammer, or rubber mallet, to help get the main cap/girdle off. Tap lightly while you work it front to back, side to side and slowly remove it.
