Message	Most auto parts stores will do this for free, and then you will know the battery is good. Sounds like it might be a good idea for you to either replace your battery harness, or re-do the battery connections. The Z seems to be picky about battery connections. Since you had absolutely no power to the Z, I would suspect a power issue before the starter solenoid.
