I went outside this morning to give it another shot, and it looked like I had no power at all to the entire car. I took a multi-meter and read 12/13 volts on the battery posts. What I also noticed was I put the multi-meter needle on the actual Frays of the alternator harness wire that is clamped on the battery post clamp, that wire read only 3 volts. I pushed around the wire frays with the needle for a few minutes and then I got 12 volts reading from the frays, along with power restored to the car. I then went inside to start the car, the second I tried to start it, all power was cut again and the frays were back reading 3 volts.
Could it just be a bad connection? Also remember this all started happening after I washed the car yesterday.
