10" with +20 is well into "stance" territory. With a roll/pull of fenders, the 225/40 has the right amount of stretch to make it work (not that it's safe).Go on rimtuck and look at others setups. I will be running 18x10 +30 with 255/35 on the rear. Basically the narrowest tire that major companies can recommend I.e. discount tire, tire rack. 18x9 +30 front, undecided on 225/40 or 235/40 or 245/35, trying to keep diameter matched with rear. Twinturbo.net members are big fans of functionality not stance, you will get a lot of criticism for running those sizes. Unless you have 450hp+, wheels wider than 8.5" will probably be slowing you down due to weight. Having said that, i have an NA with about 240hp and I think it looks badass so I'm going with wide wheels too.
