After my recent trip to LA I have noticed that my Z is a lot better on gas than it was before I upgraded my injectors and ECU. With a full tank of gas I would get to LA (200 miles) with just a quarter left and considering it's about an 18.7 gallon tank it would mean that I got around 14 mpg on highway, absolutely horrible. Now when I drove to LA I get there with half a tank of gas left giving me about 21 mpg and that's with medium boost. Could it be that the old injectors were leaking fuel or I was losing my MPG somewhere else? It just seems very odd that it is such an improvement especially with the increase in power from the ECU and upped boost. I know that the 90TT is rated at around 22 MPG highway so it would seem that there was something wrong before the upgrade. Any thoughts?
