I was hoping to get a little help/advice on whether my motor is ready to install. This is my first time in and out with one and I don't want to get the motor back in the car only to find out that there was something I missed that will require that I remove it again. Its a stock rebuild. I had it apart to the bare block and reassembled it with new rings and bearings. EGR is deleted as are the TB water pipes. I have Z1 DPs on order, and I'm wondering whether I should wait until I get them before I move on so I can install them with the motor out, or just go ahead and keep moving and then install them just before I put the transmission in. Also, in the FSM looked like there is a heat shield that goes onto the RH turbo, but I couldn't find any way to mount one. Should there be a shield on the turbo(s)?
