When I get it apart, the machine shop will be able to tell what I can reuse right? I'm hoping I can just clean up the pistons and rering but we'll see. The car is just a project, I don't need it and currently it is in the garage back at my parents house, don't even have a car for college So yes it could sit all four years (and I am an ME haha) but I'd like to get her going when u have the time This winter I'll take both motors apart and see what I can work with. If I can stick to budget then I may be able to get her running come new years, assuming I'm able to find a machine shop that could have a turn around time that quick Maybe I haven't damaged the crank here, as I only noticed it when I went to start the car after about a month, haven't driven since it started knocking. I say the term "I spun a rod" loosely as I'm not 100% sure. All I know that it is knocking and it happened recently The motor had to come out for turbos anyways I believe, so I'll see once I get there
Thanks again for all your help
