Message -Don't try to fix a scored/damaged crankshaft. Get a good used one that runs true in a set of v-blocks. The factory crankshaft is nitrided, if you had the crankshaft ground you have get the crank re-nitrided. Another reason for getting a good used crank.

-N/A oil squirters are for aftermarket forged pistons

-I wouldn't suggest using re-bar to bang out the casting. I would suggest using a dremel like tool to remove the extra material.
