I think they can weld up the crank then bring it back into tolerance. Last time I had problems with my crank was 2003 so I just can't really recall. You can still start with the block and have it bored. I went 90mm but I think that was too big. My car runs about 75% on the thermostat when it hits about 100F. I've read people installing the NA oil squirters. Also take re-bar and bank out the castings that may block the water flow. Mine was definitely clogged up! Are you taking this car to the racetrack? Z has an oil starvation problem. I did the SpecialtyZ oil pan but it's $600. According to Kyle Puckett, he's never had problems with Eagle rods and they are cheap insurance ($600).
