1) Change the EFI harness to OBD1. 2) Consult plug is still there on the 96 and will work. No need to do anything to your dash. 3) EFI harness will need to have a pin moved on one of the connectors to get the AC to work properly. 4) On the 96, the FPC is controlled via the body harness (brown plug in the passenger footwell). It needs to be spliced into the EFI harness. The easiest way is to splice it in the footwell and to de-pin the corresponding plug on the EFI harness in the engine bay.
