So, I just replaced my faulty injectors. I got the car back together and something isn't quite right. The car hunts idle between 600-900 rpm. The idle will drop, then rev back up to around 900 rpm, then drop to 600 rpm. Seems to be worse when the car is warm. My first thought was vacuum leak. But, I can't find one. I have sprayed throttle body cleaner everywhere but without a change to idle. My next thought is catalytic converter but I haven't gotten around to testing it. But, another possibilty I can easily test is the mass air flow sensor. When I tested the voltage of the "b" wire with the key on, I got 0.48 volts. The manual says 0.8 is spec. I don't have a spare and I don't know anybody that has a Z with a known good MAF to test. I get a code 55 and my car will idle above 2500. Can a MAF give an out of spec reading but still allow the car to run okay? Not great but just okay. Also, would my symptoms be common given my spec descriptions? Thanks
