Message	I will be taking the head off tonight. After its off what should I look for that caused my engine knock and low compression? How can I tell if rod bearings are makin noise or my head or low compression is cause of my piston rings? What should I be looking for. Also i have a set of heads that came off a motor I had before that was originally in the car only think I know is the motor wouldn't start and when it did it would knock which I found to be the rod bearings. How can I tell if it's good to put on this block granted the block is good but if I wanted to check do I have to bring it to a machine shop? If it happens to be the head gasket is bad do I have to have the head check for warpage? I want to get my car running right before summer is over so I can have it running for the winter thanks
