Message	where someone welded a bar to mount the shifter very similar to the Maniacal version and their airbag accidentally deployed. You are making a direct connection from the car body to the shifter with that design. With the OEM and ZSpeed the shifter is isolated from the body of the car. Obviously not a big deal in a Z with no airbags, however I have a 94.
