Message	rings, and then turn by hand a couple full revolutions so the lubricant can get to all the places where it was metal to metal before rotating, and then proceed to crank, run it about 20 minutes at idle, and then do a full oil & filter change, and you could even run some engine cleaner during that 20 minutes which would help with that old crud from over the years.
