I'm thinking your next step is to check the cam timing.. By the marks.. If your Lucky, it's just off by a tooth and it can be moved to get all to line up.. BUT.. you said the heads were shaved.. How Much?.. As you shave the Heads, this will throw the Cams off timing, and unless you add the same thickness back to the headgasket, or add Moveable Cam gears, things will be off.. Backstory On: I ended up stuffing Unknown Heads ( and I did not Check CC Volume ) on my First VG Motor.. I had to Skew the Drivers Cams by 1/2 Tooth to get the timing on that side Proper.. the Passenger Side was off by a Full Tooth.. That was easy to fix.. The Down Fall to putting the Heavly Milled heads on my NA, is the Compression Pressures is now 220 on that motor.. BackStory Off: Open up the Belt Area, and have a peek.. Be prepared to make a Decision.. If you can't get the Timing Proper, are you prepared to pull the Motor to Get it Timed Properly?.. Cj
