Subject	Installing a back up camera, need a reverse signal

Message	I recently replaced the stereo in the car with a 7" AppRadio3 and I am installing a reverse camera as well. I need a signal to indicate the car is in reverse, and preferably something as close to the front dash as possible. Running a signal wire all the way back to the reverse lights shouldn't be necessary. What's the easiest/best way to tie into this to get signal that the car is in reverse?
