Subject	Has anyone else fully disassembled door handles for repaint?

Message	I posted last week or so regarding things I'm missing and have left. Car goes in this Saturday and I can NOT for the life of me remove the door handle pin. Has the design changed from year to year? It's one thing to try and slide it out with vice grips, but I've taken a hammer and punch to it on numerous occasions and am slightly bending the tabs the pin goes through. It's like they were installed under compression and not meant to removed but completely replaced. So damn close to having this car ready. Thanks! 1993 TT. R.I.P. 09.15.2010
