Subject	Transmission question

Message	Hey guys... I had to swap my transmission out, and had to swap the N/A bell housing to the TT transmission that I bought. When I am putting the detent balls and springs back in, if I lay the transmission on it's side, if I drop those balls back in place, will they stay? I am thinking of glomming the ball and the spring up with grease and sticking them together until I can get some tension on them, but is that necessary? Thanks for the help.
