Message	I doubt the chip would be bad since specialtyZ's reputation is very good, although is there a way to check the chip? Also you said the PROM could be backwards. I admit, it didn't occur to me that the chip could be installed backwards... I will pull it today but please tell me how to identify which way is right for it to go in. From what I recall there weren't any markings on it. I might be wrong. If I did have it installed backwards, is it pretty much guaranteed i toasted it? I really appreciate your help.
