Is it possible for the fuel pump to shut off after driving for awhile. I was stranded yesterday after running around town, shut the Z off then would not start and if it did I had barely any RPM's to sustain it running (like no fuel was getting to it rich/lean guage pegged at lean). Had the Z towed to shop and it started after it had cooled down. They told me it was possibly the fuel pump after it got hot it shut down. Tried to drive home and was stranded again 5 minutes later. I don't have a promblem changing the fuel pump, if thats really the problem just trying to avoid the guessing game at my expense. Thanks in advance for any of your thoughts on this.
