Message	clearance you should consider replacing the 2 plastic bushings in the shifter, they wear out and give a loose feel to the shifter. If you do the replacement it can be done topside, grease them well with #2 bearing grease. Bushings are a push in but require some force to final position. The pass thru bolt is easy to get back in from passenger side but the nut on the bolt on the drivers side is a pain to start. I temp glue the nut (contact cement or weather strip adhesive) to my left hand pointer finger and place it on the bolt and turn the bolt with a small ratchet. ZUL8TR in Orlando,FL
