Subject	tps sensor question

Message	My TPS ohm reading between center pin and end pin is 270 ohms fully closed and jumps all over the place during slow increase until it maxes out at 3100 ohms fully open (should be 0-1000 closed to open)...bad TPS but I also have other symptoms that have me a bit confused. Idle after warm up is around 1700rpm vehicle is running extremely rich depressing the gas pedal allows it to only rev to appx 3000rpm's before "cutting out". I have to feather the gas to keep it running after revving. could a bad TPS sensor create all of these problems?
