Message	car do when you first start it? How high does it rev? Have you serviced the throttle body to get rid of accumulation deposits? Have you checked and adjusted the TPS? Have you checked/replaced the PCV's? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? What are condition of spark plugs/miles on them? Are injectors working properly? Have you checked for codes? etc etc etc. Are we talking TT or NA? Is that a synthetic oil you are thinking of with the 5w 30? I would not use a petroleum oil with that much spread in the low and high numbers, means more additives in the can to get a 5w oil to behave like a 30w at higher temp. If you want a petroleum oil use a 10w 30 should be just fine for Tallahassee. Synthetics can have the greater spread in the numbers and work well because they are man made molecules and less additives in the can to get the properties at the high temp weight.
