So I did a lower plenum pull and decided to eliminate the EGR valve while doing it. Didn't want to muck up the exhaust mani trying to remove the pipe so I left it for when the motor comes out. As you can see this option I consider much easier! Follow the plenum removal directions, remove the driver side water heater pipe to gain easier access to the egr, the big nut on the egr tube is a 27mm. Remove the egr and cut the threaded nipple off. JB weld a bolt in it, let it cure then reassemble to plug the pipe running from the exhaust header. Soory about the lazylink, cant get the photos to post! This is where I cut La-Z-Link
