Message get the job done (seal). If worried about gas in the cyclinder (or cylinders). Just crank the engine a bit with all the spark plugs removed (and injectors disabled). That should take care of it.

I'm assuming you already know that when running the compression test that the injectors need to be disabled. Pulling the plug on the CAS keeps the ECU from firing the injectors but disabling the fuel pump is better - since a leaky injector could still be supplying some fuel if the pump pressurizes.

FWIW - A turkey baster is a handy tool to have around the shop. Good for many little jobs (ie., removing fluids, etc). Makes is pretty easy to add a small bit of oil down the spark plug hole. Just fit a piece of clear tubing to the end of the baster and then suck up a little bit of oil. Allows the hose to get much farther down the long spark plug access hole.
