Got a 91 na compression test failed miserably started pulling engine apart with plenum off I can see that there are no bent intake valves and valve timing is set correctly a leak down test showed all my intake valves were leaking horribly there was a lot of carbon build up and burned oil on them I cleaned them and they are still leaking but when I rotate engine 15-20 degrees after tdc leak stops hmm so I looked at my vtc solenoid and the drivers side in not working so my real question is could both vtc solenoids be stuck in the active position causing my valves to have some overlap at tdc resulting in compression loss before I start tearing heads off and apart
