In Reply To 2+2 vs 2+0 TT Part Differences? Diff,Axles,Sways,Trim etc posted by Mrfairlady on January 08, 2015 at 04:42 PM

Message Differential and axles are the same, driveshaft is different
Brake system is the same (between 2+0 and 2+2 of same years and models)

Sway bar is different on the 2+0, 2+0 Turbo, and 2+2. I don't recall which is the best but I think its a combination of one from the turbo and one from the 2+2

T tops are the same, I believe the windows are slightly different, most trim is the same.

Fuel pump is different (Multiple speeds on the turbo vs. single speed NA), you also need to keep the FPC

Things I would take?
-Best sway bars
-Fuel pump/FPC from TT
-Keep Diff/Axles from 2+2 (4.08 vs 3.67)
-Better brakes (depending on model year)

Guess that's about it? I feel like im missing a few things... someone will pick up where I left off

What are you doing with the rest of the car...?
