Message So I just completed my first plenum pull successfully, changed the injectors and did the throttle body coolant bypass. I am however have some issues with vacuum lines. I know on the driver side there was a vacuum hard pipe that connected the balance tube to the carbon canister, and I routed a new line connecting the two (though I used the wrong size tubing and its making a big vacuum leak, does anyone know if 1/4 in vacuum hosing is a suitable substitute for 6mm?) but I now notice there is what I believe to be another vacuum hardline on the passenger side. (Picture, highlighted in red: [ http://i.imgur.com/L2xS26G.jpg ]) Trouble is, I have no idea what that used to hook up to, as I can't see any unplugged lines on that side, nor can I tell if there is a vacuum leak of some sorts because for one I don't hear anything on that side, and I already have another leak coming from the other side. The car is a '91 and the AIV and EGR is still intact, though I don't think the EGR is doing anything as the pipes were completely clogged when I took off the plenum. I have looked through every vacuum diagram there is on the NA and tried searching, but just can't seem to figure this out. My guess would have to be the AIV, but since I had a few other questions I figured I might aswell make a post.

So a TL;DR version

What is the highlighted vacuum line here?: [ http://i.imgur.com/L2xS26G.jpg ]
Can you use 1/4" hosing in place of 6mm?
What size hosing is the brake booster vacuum line? And can you just replace the half that comes after the check valve with just any hosing or does it have to be OEM?
