9 years ago (early ST-40 calipers). Over this time, the bleeding nipples had rusted. Since they are visible through the wheels, I decided to replace them with a fresh set of stainless steel ones. It was back then that I last bled the brake system with fresh fluid. It seemed reasonable to do it again, while I had the system open. Replacing the nipples, resulted in a gravity bleed. After the job, having refilled the reservoir once, I got in the car and the pedal was hard. I was so happy!
