Message Hi everyone,

Very long time Z driver, first time poster here. Currently driving a JDM 91 TT with 94k KM (around 60k miles) on her.

After an hour of googling, and using the search function on TT.net, I can't seem to find anything that points me in the right direction here.

The lever positions for the P, R, N, D, 1, 2, 3 are all screwed up. Basically, P gets the lever stuck (car won't turn over either), Halfway between P and R is park, R is neutral, somewhere between R and N is reverse, N is drive, and the lever won't move into or past D. The lever also doesn't want to stay in a position and "lock" in anywhere, and if it does lock in somewhere, it tends to get stuck in the wrong position, like halfway between P and R, and so on. The issue certainly feels mechanical - the linkage perhaps.

I'm certainly no greenhorn mechanic. I've owned 4 of these cars, perform all of my own work, but this is my first auto and I'm a bit lost.

Is it a cable adjustment? lever linkage? ATCU?

Thanks!
