Subject	Fuel Filler Door Cable Replacement

Message	I need to replace the cable that both opens the door to the fuel cap and also the trunk on my 91 2+2. I've removed all the plastic covering the cable in the trunk area. It looks like it just might be possible to lift up just the floor rug next to the cable lever on the floor allowing me to unhook the cable and attach twine to the cable and then draw it back to the trunk where I'd attach the replacement cable to the twine and reverse the process. Has anybody done this or used any other work around to do the cable replacement?
