I'm having a hard time understanding how this system works and Viper instructions are not very clear. I have a '90, and installing the Viper 211hv keyless system. I am using a DEI 524N actuator for the Drivers door. Really confused on the Viper instructions, it states that the Viper module H1/5 Lock #30 common (output) "has door lock relays onboard" and "drive aftermarket actuators directly." I don't know if this means that I DONT need a relay or not. It then says to refer to Type D wiring diagram in the tech section, which shows a relay. Just like in your writeup. So either I can wire the controller straight up to my actuator OR I will use a DEI 451 relay if I DO need a relay? Of the 6 lock wires off the Viper controller I have, I assume Lock#30 common output & Unlock #30 common output either go directly to the actuator or to the relay which then goes to the actuator. SO then what about the rest: Lock 87 normally closed lock 87 normally open input unlock 87 normally open input unlock 87 normally closed Do those all get left unused? Appreciate any help, everything else is straight forward but this is confusing
