So I've been running around 9psi on a bone stock 93' TT until yesterday when I added a sellin dual MAF setup (set to AVG for now), full SZ 3" turbo-back exhaust with split DP, and SZ/RPS flywheel. Let me tell you, you can truly feel the difference after getting rid of those restrictive stock pre-cats and cats! Anyway, noticed the boost was measuring around 12-13 psi now with just reducing the restriction coming off the turbos. Sound normal? I have no boost controller and my ECU is stock. I wasn't expecting to see that kind of increase in boost yet so I didn't plan an ECU upgrade yet. Is it safe or should I invest in a tune to make sure the engine is programmed to handle the additional boost?
