Message Did the car idle between 1400 rpms and 2000 rpms when you disconnected the oval connector? When you disconnect the oval connector the car will idle up when the ecu is calibrating.

if you look at the TPS voltage when you disconnect the oval connector you will see that the idle up happens as the TPS voltage will scale from the preset voltage of .4 -.5 V to 5.00V then you plug in the oval connector and rpms drop because voltage drops to your set value and idle should set.

Do you have the AAC/Base idle screw in all the way? this can cause stalling coupled with a stuck shut Air regulator. similar as pinching the hose going into the FICD like in this image from Z1.

if the car is running great and you pinch hoses #1 or #2 the car will stall, same goes if they are open to atmosphere.
