Have a 1990 TT. Runs fine but battery was bad, so I swapped it out. When I connect the battery and turn the key, I get all the lights. However, when I turn to start, I get a click (not the starter) and then nothing. The whole thing is dead. I can redisconnect the battery and then reconnect and I get the lights again. Wondering if there's something stupid I'm missing? Car is stock with the original theft system. I did put the key in and turn in part way to get the lights again and tried the radio, and I got the exact same result - completely dead and reconnect the battery again and get the lights. Any thoughts?
