For bad idle disconnect coil connectors one at a time, idle should drop. Reconnect, go to next connector. If idle doesn't change, you've found the cylinder causing a problem. Sure, non oem sensor, or connector could be an issue. Could also be ECU related. Also had a MF on #3. Had continuity in new EFI harness #3 ground wire from FI connector to ECU plug, so that was good. Turned out ECU was not sending ground signal to #3. Ran jumper wire from #3 injector connector ground wire to #2 injector ground wire. Problem solved. Bad ECU driver.
